    WIMA Pink Ribbon Ride - Sun 11 Oct

    Consider this early notice...

    Sunday 11 October
    We'll leave Uni at 9:30ish for the meeting point in Kohimarama, ride departs there at 10:30. All welcome, bring some $$ for a badge and ya raffle tickets.

    We all love Boobs, come support keeping them nice and round (and healthy).... mmm, boobs.

    My grandma went through breast cancer, this ride sounds awesome. It is especially relevant as breast cancer is genetic I believe...I'll be there

    Possibly, have to do a count... i reckon we'd be able to locate one if you do find a pillion

    All cancer is genetic, as in mutations that cause functional problems.

    Some cancers are heritable - 'genetic' in the sense you mean Danae eg breast cancer genes BRCA1 and 2 which run in families. (Enough for now I think)

    WIMA Pink Ribbon Ride 2009

    Hi
    This year's WIMA Pink Ribbon Ride being held Sunday 11 October 2009 has a new start venue as we have out grown the old one.
    The ride will depart from the Auckland Netball Centre, cnr Stonefields Ave & College Rd, St Johns at 10.30am - sharp!!. Meet any time from 9.00am and be ready to roll at 10.30am on the dot - the police will again be escorting us on the 19km route ending at Western Springs Stadium car park where a sausage sizzle & coffee van will be available.
    Badges are $10 and there will be raffles available for purchase with lots of prizes including the chance to win a Honda Today Motorino 50.
    All scooters, motorbikes & trikes and all motorcyclists/riders male & female are welcome.

    Hope WIMA has been cleaned up. Several years ago I attended a pink ribbon ride only to be frightened off by hordes of militant men hating lesbians. Scary people!~
