Here it is, havnt done anything to it performance wise {got to wait for money so i can do a good job on mods}
so far its just 125gp slicks,crash bungs,alloy racing footpegs
havnt done anything stripping down wise......because the fuel injection is fussy. Still a very light bike.The bike has apsolutly no torque , so its like riding a 2 stroke.

That looks way to good to be a bucket.
Thanks, i like to think of it as my mini gsxr600, its abit down on horse power compared to my old fxr, but it makes up for it with crisp throttle response and handling.
it may seem alittle flash to you wellingtonians but up here at mt wellington and roys hill alot of bike are pretty flash, remember its still dirt cheap to set one of these cbr's up, and they are truly beautiful machines.
Im planning on having it for a couple of years, so i needed a bike that isnt going to cost me too much money in the long run and a bike that is very reliable.

It does look good.

I'd whip that speedo cable off before you hook up another bike with it!
2 strokes generally speaking have more torque than 4 strokes cc for cc. That's why they have been the choice for real racing bikes & Trials bikes until regulated against recently.Originally Posted by DELLORTO;1129437171[INDENT
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
I had a testride on a cbr150 and is absolutely blew the 125 out of the water... I reckon that cbr150 was markedly quickler and lighter handling than an fxr150 too
It's good seeing new bikes available for the class, but by definition they aren't buckets unless they burn oil (4 stroke or two) and are made of atleast three different donors

it's basically the same motor as the CRF line from honda
thats the oposite of what i think after riding both......my old fxr150 felt gutless and un-responsive compared to my cbr, the fxr handles not nearly as well. There was a cbr150 at royshill, i didnt have much trouble passing him and hes not a bad rider.
For kart tracks the cbr is the best bike for the job ive ridden yet.
