    "New Posts" search timeout

If I haven't done a "new posts" search for some time, and there are a bunch of unread pages, I can't get all those pages read before the search times out and advises me "no matches." Usually this happens when I'm reading posts, as well as getting something useful done here (rare I know).

Can the search timeout be lengthened somewhat, so I don't have to hurry through my reading?

    cheers,
    Steve

"read what Steve says. He's right."
"What Steve said pretty much summed it up."
"I did axactly as you said and it worked...!!"
    "Wow, Great advise there DB."

Will this display the posts I havent read? Ie, the ones that were in the previous search.

I should have said, that I also did "mark all posts read" immeditely after the "view new posts".

I set my preferences to only show articles from the last 7 days.

    That works good for me.

It will if you don't mark all posts read.
