09 Speed Triple headlight

Anyone have a headlight for a 09 speedtriple? Only need the glass for one light (bloody stones). Don't really want to have to buy new as they come as a whole unit and cost mege bucks.

Go to A hella distributor and buy two !!! Then sell your spare lens to pay for em !!!
Stock speed three headlights (lens only), ya looking at $270 if i remember rightly, where as a hella sealed lens is about $80 which fit nicely, then go get yaself some clear stick on headlight protect from super cheap or repco (50 notes but you'll do yr bike, ya car, a mate or two's bikes with it)

Seriously, replace with Hella lenses !

Have already got clear stick on protect. It was a goody

Was quoted about $255 for one unit - Lucky I didn't need 2.

Have got protector shield ordered ($40) so should save in future

Ventura do light guards, I've had them on all my S3's worth their weight in gold.

Yeah the price ya got quoted will be for the lens only too, lol bloody joke if ya ask me $80 part but add $170 for the name triumph on the lens ! I think from memory the whole unit (plus the chrome surround is $400 odd)

In actual fact i think i still have the triumph lens that wasn't broke on my 955, If you want to be pedantic about having the triumph on the lens, check with the triumph shop re the part numbers for the lens for your 09 and a lens for an 03 955 speed triple and See if they're a match (but personally i'd go get a hella sealed beam, or two even)

Edit : Second thoughts don't bother checking to see if it's a match ! Just remembered it was a US import and the lights dipped the wrong way !! Wasn't picked up when i got it vinned, but i wouldn't do it to ya !

Thanks for the info.
The light still works and no bulbs gone etc. The stone went straight through the plastic stick on stuff. Spoke to Hamilton today and they said the lens comes with bulbs etc. They were nice enough to ask if I was sitting down when I asked for the price!
