    Cleaning exhaust - way rich

Picked up a used "Zorsts" exhaust for cheap on trademe.

Seems all good, but it's obviously been attached to a bike which has been running very rich. It's kinda like looking down a a coal mine.

Should I do anything to clean it up, or just forget it's there.

is this the header or the muffler?

assuming it's the header, either go at it with with steel wool on a hooked bit of no. 8 wire, or don't bother.

myself, I wouldn't bother unless there's an obstruction or it's some ultra-high performance rvgscbyzf1099989rrrrrrr turbo

    Two options,

pour a shit load of drain cleaner down it then a little bit of water and let it sit for a few days (not very good)

or stick a oxy torch through it and burn it off (quick but messy)
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

isn't that for clearing the gunk out of two strokes? would think it'd be pretty inneffective on straight carbon (compared to just bolting her on and letting it burn out over a few weeks)

and if it's a packed and/or carbon mufler he's talking about, best keep fire clear of that

Yea, for 2 smokers I've burnt them out before.

But this ain't one of them. I think it'll just be a matter of letting it cough up black shit for a while.

if your bike is running correctly,it will burn out the old shit after a good run and you will soon be able to marvel at your pipe the color of a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie...mmmm..cookies

If it isnt, you can always blame the previous bike it was on when your observant mates comment on how black your pipe is.

    Either way-dont worry,be happy
