    The Real Thursday Night Ride

These will be commencing the first Thursday after daylight savings starts 2009. (1st October)

Meet at the duckpond carpark at Avalon Park, Fairway Drive Lower Hutt from 6.00pm onwards for a 6.30pm departure.

Make sure you have fuelled up before arriving.

The route will be determined on the night. The Parrot and Jigger on Hutt Road is usually the destination for some refreshments and possibly a free snack. Monteiths Bar in Mana have also been very accommodating and is sometimes visited along the way.

Please take a few minutes to read and familiarise yourself with the Group Ride Guide

NB - These rides are generally for more experienced riders.

    Hey hey not many replies.

Has my reference to the Group Ride Guide put people off, or has the double yellow lines on 'the hill' done that ?

As someone who's had his share of experiences on the TRTNR, I'd like to add to Deano's first post that this ride is about going at your own pace. It is not run by a club or anyone for that matter. We don't tell people how they should ride their bikes. The individual rider takes all the risks and the consequences.
While you sit there liking things just cos' everyone else does, I'll be standing up here keeping it real.

I just reminded Malcolm, his VFR is warranted and rego'ed AND working so he might come along for the ride.

MYGSFX - I will definately be at the PnJ from about 7.30ish onwards (if they let us back in again) if there is no rain.
