If only it'd been so easy to be sent home from Korea Clinger wouldn't have had to wear a dress. We can kill them but we must not joke about killing them

Yep, you can thank the media sensationalism and over Political Correctness for it.

I hear they may lose their jobs over it. Fucken officers who claimed expenses they were'nt entitled to got less punishment.

We're now in politically correct time - it's OK to bomb the shit out of a country, as long as you're sensitive and caring about their feelings.
Writing mocking messages (even if the victims don't see them) is just disrespectful and unacceptable.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

I didnt see the problem with it. You send young men to fight a war in which they face an unrelenting enemy and horrors that many of us would tremble at the thought of and the nz goverment fires them for writing a message to the enemy on a bomb.

Fark me, the message wasnt even bad. "deat taliban enjoy this demon", note they could have used raghead, zipper head etc. Load of bullshit I reckon.

In other wars they did all sorts of stuff for example painting messages on bombs as well as number of kills on planes.

    May fire them.

And the Brits and Yanks still have these notes put on their weapons.

    Fucking outrageous!!!!!!!!!

PC gone too fucking far. This pisses me off.
It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.

Next the soldiers will have to ask the Taleban personally if they can shoot them back, when being fired upon.

They didn't get sent home for writing messages on an armament.

    They got sent home for:

    1. Breaching operational security (releasing the photos would have been a breach of standing orders)
    2. Bringing the army into disrepute.
The greatest pleasure of my recent life has been speed on the road. . . . I lose detail at even moderate speed but gain comprehension. . . . I could write for hours on the lustfulness of moving swiftly.

It's senior officers pandering to PC wowsers like Keith Locke that brings the army into disrepute, not squaddies being, well, sqauddies.
