    eek 04 KDX125 + new tyres = lol

Hah, so most of you havent seen the other wee beasty that i picked up earlier on this year, its a freakin fun little thing,

the amount of fun i have had on the ct110 was a complete inspiration to have something on the small trail scale, aswell as something bigger

thus i bought this wee beasty, sold my klx400r , bought 08 dr650 off crazysteve, and not looking back, happy with it all

just fitted new tyres to the kdx for some trail action this weekend,

put a cheapy Mitroc 100/100 18 on the rear, it is completely laughable, i never knew how un road worthy it would be,

going round any slight corner, slow speed, slight bend or lean rather,

open throttle, (it is by no means a horsepower monster) and the rear wheel just goes sliding sideways on tarmac, controllable thou,

gave a few ppl a good show in town just earlier

since photo i have got a new reg plate etc, ripped it off last time i used it.

    but yea,

new tyres + higher pressure to sit tyre out nice, gogo action sideways @_@

heres some pics of the DB10 SBC killer machine!, if it doesnt blow up ?

    110kph!!!

Mate most of the rest of the small bore challenge bikes will probably be cruising at about 80, or at least I will be.

Is this the one from down Timaru/Oamaru way?

I was going to get that instead of fixing the DR250, then it sold so I figured that I may as well get the DR250 fixed -> 11 weeks later I still have a DR250 that isn't going, and a bill on the way that would have covered 75% of the cost of the KDX125!

    on a side note

spent mid morning to 1pm riding the heck out of the kdx, and it is amazing heh

its so much fun and easy to handle, so nimber and well balanced, good on gravel ;x ,loving it

oh did i mention it floats well too ? and its super easy to strip down and get going again once chocka block with water, 1 pet hate which ill fix is the airbox doesnt have a drain.... wtf !

heh, lept off into one of many rivers to see what was on the other side, low and behold this water was deeper than i realised with my first glance.

up to my nipples in water, with a kdx floating next to me, oh shit !

all good thou, goes great, electrics have died, rev, horn, indicators, headlight etc, so cant be something too major, probably a major fuse i guess

goes great, such a good trail weapon ;x lovin it. ;D

makes me want something super insanely light, like one of those scorpa t rides or something, no idea :X, really digging trail riding again

    matt where are youuuu ;D
