A half Coro is the route we took.

Me'n Raj and some others did a "snappy" paced Coro loop the weekend after they "declared" that.

Didn't get so much as a whiff of the constabulary for the entire loop.

It ain't like sh16 where you almost have to speed to make the corners worth it.

The loop starting at Kopu and reaching Coromandel at its highest point.

The full coro includes going down through whangamata down to Waihi etc.

The half will take us the full day with the bbq and is definitely enough riding to make me sore the next day anyway!

Oh ok, I didnt realise that was only half lol, I will have to do the full one sometime I think. I've done each bit separately before, need to do it all together.

Yeah depending on various things, hopefully I shall be able to make this one.

Yep I haven't done the full either... Whenever I've done the top half it has taken the most part of the day anyway cause we always have a few stops and photos and a decent lunch.

Over summer I'll look at doing the full coro on a weekday I reckon, way less traffic and less chance of being hungover!

Damn logistics... I'm thinking just the usual coro, then do the bbq thing later in summer when I've scoped out some mean barbis and it'll be hotter for a swim too.

Keen keen keen I can't wait for a ride. Be good to have full smc ppl too! I'll post up a single thread this weekend confirming times and places

Copout, go clockwise and stop out at Kuaotunu or keep going down to Pauanui or Whangamata. Only pansies need to stop as often as you guys.

When was the last time you did a coro with us... Never?

    Are there bbqs at Kuaotunu?

I'm using the place at Pauanui the next weekend, so don't wanna impose by using it this weekend too.

There are bbqs and toilets and shop at Papaaroha, 10 minutes north of coromandel.

    That's only 126km from Kopu going anti-clockwise!

I reckon we hit it yeah?

So we can leave Kopu anti-clockwise all the way to coromandel, head up to papaaroha, chill for a long lunch in the sun, then head back down the coast to finish. Thoughts?
