    We've got a few pieces of thick polycarb floating around the lab, could probably make up some kind of bracket pretty easily if you need a hand. Would be keen to get the raw footage.

    Need to schedule another run somewhere, too...

    I find using a block of soft foam and taping the camera down onto that reduced a lto of the vibration and noise carried through the camera body - works well on the viffer tank too, just in front of the filler cap out of the wind, but the view is a bit obscured... here's one from aaages ago

    True yeah a block of foam sounds pretty good, will have to fiddle round sometime. Definitely keen for more rides but big time uni work atm, maybe a sneaky coro loop during this next week on a weekday?

    Yeah, that could be a beaut actually. Monday Tuesday good, Wednesday wet, Thursday Friday good according to the met service. The timing will be all fucked on that, but it looks like next week should be mostly good, at least.

    oooh advance warning! where to? will it be a hoon ride? i will come along to a slow cruise because the gixxer won't behave itself - it has shinkos & suspension like a steel paddle under my butt.

    Maybe coromandel? Open to suggestions! Never a hoon ride.

    why don't you replace the shinkos and get the suspension adjusted before it causes an accident then?

    admittedly i have no excuse for the shinkos except that they were free so i took 'em -_-;

    the suspension is being investigated as we speak! thus far i have discovered it will cost over $2000 for rear alone. plus there is scepticism abound as to whether it can be adjusted to a 45kg rider. otherwise the bike is excellent, and as long as i take it easy, i am not adverse to riding until i get it sorted. (there is always the option of taking the 250 out for a spin also )
