Precisely why I didn't organise anything haha. Night of no plans ended up busy till 4am again... Not ideal for riding.

A lazy sunday sitting on a mate's deck with tui in hand was on the cards for me.

the whole of KB clearly took your advice the wrong way

YES - headlights of other vehicles are helpful

NO - that does not make it suitable for a learner

that is all that needs to be said.

A Sunday ride was had here:

Mrs Phurrball and I managed a pleasant jaunt on Big Yellow up north-west ways, culminating in fush'n'chups on the way through Warkworth.

Yay! An actual ride which wasn't a commute!

(Had to be 'good' though, with SWMBO on the back)

You're a braver man than you are sane. Ingrid would put down any sign of insurrection with an iron fist. She would make Beria look like a girl scout.

Hehe - she did spot a under a bride on Upper Harbour Highway before I did - sharp dig to ribs, a dab of brake and a roll off, and my wallet was safe again.

(Not that I ever know my exact speed due to over reading MPH speedo - I suspect a baby-murdering 115-120 on this occasion)

Yes, but I went alone. Organising group rides is too much of a mission now with all these new rules.

I may be lucky enough to go dirtbike riding this weekend; if so I'll probably be too knackered for a ride but we'll see. I'm still keen as.

We needs somewhere to arrange (NOT ORGANISE) rides (NOT GROUP RIDES) off the radar, not get caught up in all the new rules. h

How about a collection of people riding motorcycles heading in the same direction towards a place all at once?
