Conservative leathers in blue or red would be awesome
Shop around, cos Ive been...and still cant make a firm decision ..why?? cos Ive seen so much variety with soooo many brands out there, the more you see...making your mind up is harder for choice.
BUT... cant get by without leathers,I have them (HD brand) Safety wise...and looks damn good! Also theres a shop in Hastings... JET LEATHERS... www.jetproducts.co.nz custom to your fit, quite reasonable too. Good luck with your shopn & welcome to the madness

Hey hey! who you calling a jerk?!

Anyway, no one can tell you are a girl on a bike, unless you have a really really really great ass, and even then it pays not to assume!

There is some nice textile ladies gear on trademe. If you hunt around you can get jackets and pants for around $135 ish. You must have leather gloves though.

You don't need super high quality gear, unless you are going to be on the back of someone elses high performance road going missile, or your high performance road going missile. You just need to be warm and dry to start with. In the winter you will get bloody cold, bloody quick, unless you have some polypro to put on underneath.

Welcome to KB and to biking.

"read what Steve says. He's right."
"What Steve said pretty much summed it up."
"I did axactly as you said and it worked...!!"
    "Wow, Great advise there DB."
