Shop around, cos Ive been...and still cant make a firm decision..why?? cos Ive seen so much variety with soooo many brands out there, the more you see...making your mind up is harder for choice.

There is some nice textile ladies gear on trademe. If you hunt around you can get jackets and pants for around $135 ish. You must have leather gloves though.
You don't need super high quality gear, unless you are going to be on the back of someone elses high performance road going missile, or your high performance road going missile.You just need to be warm and dry to start with. In the winter you will get bloody cold, bloody quick, unless you have some polypro to put on underneath.
