Ha ha ha - no I was moved by your generosity actually and wanted to (a)support it and (b) help provide someone else a little bit of financial relief to complete the final round (two is always better than one eh?)

We ended up having 3 Spot Prizes to draw on Sunday as Gavin Pelham who Races in the Formula 3 (Superlite) class told me that he wouldn't be able to make Round 6 due to other commitments and wanted to also put his paid Entry in for the 3rd Spot Prize draw.
So the Winners of the 3 Free Round 6 Entries are: David Croft (Streetstocks), Sam Love Formula 1 (Superbike) & Formula 2 (Supersport) and Mark Ellen Formula 2 (Supersport), Formula 3 (Superlite).
Congratualtions to those Riders and another Huge Big Thanks to Tony O'Keffee, Chrissie Whitfeild & Gavin Pelham for your Generosity.

Good stuff ! Well done to them riders ! Hope they make it count !!!
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

I would like to offer one more free entry into next round (Rd 6) directed at those that perhaps are following their passion and racing on the smell of an oily rag with little or no support and may be struggling with the cost of entry fees in addition to every thing else.

    There is one stipulation.

You must not have any current sponsors (apart from mums and dads, partners etc)

PM me if you are interested - we will verify the sponsor status and the others will go into a hat and be drawn on Tuesday 6th October. To be sure your entry is in and paid for on time - this draw closes in one week.

That is, make sure you have PM'd me with your name, class and race number no later than midnight 5th October.

    Cheers,
    Chrissie

Given the overall lack of interest in my offer to provide a little bit of financial support (covering entry fee costs for Rd6), I am closing the offer made above effective as of the time of this post.

With the current economic climes, I had assumed (tsk tsk) that there might be a few racers that could do with some financial support to finish out the season, and from that work out what (if any) sponsorship I might be offering next next year.

I am really pleased to see that lack of sponsorship may not generally be an issue for racers afterall as I only had two responses!!

PM's have been sent to the two that responded and entry fees will be paid this evening for Rd 6.

    Have fun!!

    Cheers

Shit Chrissie, that seems quite odd, I wonder if your cool offer may have needed a new thread?
People might've already read this one prior to the new offer?

Heres hoping I get myself sorted just incase you decide to repeat the offer at another stage
