    A fine bunch, you lot

I've been looking through the posts as usual and over the past few days I have noticed something.....

You guys are, well, amazing people at heart.

There is always the banter, pisstaking, overlording etc etc but lately I have had the pleasure to read some fantastic posts offering help, sympathy, encouragement, consolation....the works.

This last week I have caught up with some people back home whom I have had no contact with for 20 years. Fate has brought us back into contact and both of these people have survived what the world has thrown at them and come out of it successful, healthy and happy. They both attributed their present circumstance to help from others, some who they didnt even know directly.

And that, people, is my point here. You guys can and do make a difference in peoples lives, and all because we collectivley log onto a fecking website to chew the cud about motorbikes.....how frikken' good is that. Look at the big picture here, a common interest between people, some of which have (and have not) met, but when it matters they are there with a word of wisdom, comfort or otherwise.

No, I am not on the piss, not had a drink for 4 weeks now. And no, I am not smoking some of the Waitakere's finest. I am just sitting here, listening to some music, reflecting on life and reading through some posts from you guys.

You are all tip top guys n gals. Thanks for bringing a warm feeling and a small tear to the eye of a fat bastard with a guitar.....

That's all, had to be said....

Shut the fuck up will you and have a bloody drink before the local you'd been supporting goes under !!
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Amazing what a connection motorbikes can make between people. We talk a whole lotta shit but we really are a community at heart.

But damn, shit talking is fun.

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

    No drink for 4 weeks?
Did your local hold a farewell for you, Max?

Well this a rum thing eh up? A bit of a chinwag, a ring of the cowbells and flipp'n nora, the whole shebang comes into your life like a backed up dunny.

KB will always be KB and never the twain shall meet, but its also thanks to salubrious characters like you FM that makes up the charm of this place.

    Long may your breeks reek!
