Did she hold an electorate, so there will be a by-election, or did she only hold a list seat?

A by-election could make an interesting change in parliament.

EDIT: "Aucklander Dave Clendon will enter Parliament on Ms Bradford's list spot."

Nah, it was a list MP. No-one would vote for it.

Ding dong the witch is gone

Ms Bradford said her departure was prompted by losing the co-leadership battle to Metiria Turei
While this is probably partly true, I suspect she was "encouraged" to go. She has been a liability of the Greens for some time.

She'll have to go back to her previous career of, umm, that's right; Nothing.

Excerpt from article: "Ms Bradford said she would be "going back to the grassroots".

Not entirely sure what the heck that means but I wouldn't be surprised if she has a rather lower support base than she thinks and is probably unemployable in the "real" world. Also pisses me off that she pushes the "I'm one of you common people" line, yet she comes from a fairly priveleged background and is well-educated.

Just because she got passed-on for the co-leadership.

    Boohooo. She's sad!
    Emocry!
Maybe if she slash her wrist in protest everybody would listen.
    Or maybe not.

Good riddance! NZ will be a better place tomorrow.
