    Self-employed and sick?

What do you do when you are self employed and you get sick?

I found out this week. You just go to work anyway, 'cause there are still bills to be paid this month and without trading no money comes in to pay 'em...

First time in four years in here that I have been seriously unwell. Nine hour days are reallllly long when you feel like crap.

And no bloody bike riding either,. just to cap it all off....

Yep, and it can suck sometimes for sure.

What do you do? You keep on going. You are in retail that makes it even worse. Keep on keeping on is all you can do. Got anyone you trust to work a few hours for you, so you can take a rest?

i know exactly how you feel...........ACC is just not worth the hassle and bills have to be paid.

i just do the minimum when sick or seriously sore and explain to clients why.

    hope you get well soon

You do what I do and get some staff and go into survival mode and hope for the best. I'm nearly right these days, so things will change with any luck. I'm fast realising I am wayyyy out of the game though.

I have a wine shop. GOOD relievers are hard to find - plenty who would empty the shop for you in one day if you let 'em...besides you have to PAY relievers and that spends the money that should pay the bills....

See, that pisses me off. I have a kid who ends up in hospital when he gets a cold. I know it's fashionable not to give a fuck about anyone else, but still.....
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?
