Basically, put the mirrors on, install the front screen, replace the footpeg bolts (they use other ones to hold the bike down), check the oils, connect the battery, wipe the disks, air in the tyres, give it a PDI and bob's your uncle.

Clivoris, I am in the very fortunate position of having a bike shop as a family business. There is no way I could afford to do this if I was doing it on my own. In no way is this bike given to me, I work hard to be able to keep it and it is something my father and I love to do.
I know I am fortunate and am always thankfull that I am able to do it when so many others struggle.

Respect. I bet there are some sacrifices being made even though you are in the industry mate.
I have been blown away by the step up in expense involved in racing the 600s. I'm like a crack ho now though. I don't think I can give it up.
I've managed to get a bit of product sponsorship that has eased some of the pain (Bless you all), and am mightily impressed by the efforts others will go to in order to get their race fix in their chosen class.

Ha yeah, he rung me before and was organising the entries. Hopefully I won't have to ship my bike up again. It was a little close to nationals to have your bike lost in a crate around NZ somewhere!
