Yeh but it involves going alon SH1. I say we cut back to papakura, through the gorge, and either carry on through hanua and come out on SH1 for like 5km and then turn off to miranda, or alternativley head into clevedon and go through kawakawa bay. It will be a bit longer to go through kawakawa bay so maybe seeing as we leaving pretty late i say we go through hanua and that way

its like 2 k on SH1 to dury off ramp then on to OLD GSH and you can nip over the motorway from down that way somewhere and back across to the east, over the ramamrama place!

The only reason I only ride in the Iron man Class is I have no friends left to enter the two man events,
    my own fault really.

go down Old GSR, till you get to Ararimu rd on your left, next to the disused pertol station, go past the tractor place, the dairy, the camp ground, over the motorway bridge, stay on this road all the way up the hill and down the other side, at eastern side of the hill turn sharp left, takes you past the hall, follow this road, till a y junction go left stay on this till you get to Hunua rd, from there left to hunua village or right Paparimu -happy Valley Lyons rd and SHw2, I would think they would go via Hunua over sky high rd and into Clevedon, , but I guess thats Johnos call, his ride, hope you have a good ride.

yeah that road's quite good. been on it a couple times now, ok ok that's a slight under-exaggeration, i live off that road at the Hunua end. there's new seal up there on the hill but most of the loose stuff is gone now. have fun

I'd be keen to come if thats ok.

Whats the deal with slower riders?
Do you wait up every now and again so slower riders can catch up?

I don't want to hold anyone up.

dont worry about holding people up! generally everyone stops at any turn or intersection to ensure no one gets lost!

Is there anything else I should know?

kidding, umm nope maybe a cellphone so you can get in touch if you have an off, take a wrong turn, nothing worse than searching for some one who has decided to turn back without telling anyone

Ride within your own limits . Try not to get the red mist when you get passed by faster guys/gals . keep a good following distance (if the person in front of ya cocks up you don't want to be up thier ass). And generally have a hoot. You gonna be meeting us out at the autobahn??

FYI for any of those looking i am pretty easy to spot i think the bright yellow shark helmet will give me away
