Those vibrating razors they have been advertising terrify me! How on earth would a vibrating razor do anything other than leave you with a scarred and corrugated face?!

Mine cost $60, reduced by $100 at Briscoes, takes a couple of passes to get a clean shave.

The instructions said to give it 3 weeks of use to learn how to shave with it and for the skin to adjust, First few goes were rough as guts but shes all sweeeeeeeeeeeeet now.

I have given up on the name brand blades and now have the no frills home brand one from woolies.
Blades are like 1/3rd of the price and last just as long.
First couple of shaves maybe not as good as a mach 3 but after that no difference imo.

I too am a slave to the Gilette corporation but I just use whatever foam is on special. Latest one is the Nivea gel that turns to foam. I also got some free samples of that King of Shaves stuff. It's pretty sweet and is in the supermarkets near me. I got told that the razors go dull by corrosion and not use so I stopped shaving in the shower and the razor seems to last way longer

I just use foam and razor + water. with the shaping blade to leave the hair on the chin. I'd like to try the 1800's style one day, 1 BIG blade, + foam, looks cooler
    Thats whats up.

I'm tempted to buy a cut-throat razor. It will be good to keep one in the glovebox of my bike. "But officer, it's not a weapon, I use it to shave. Honestly!"

I just burn the crap off with a blowtorch...easy, although it takes longer as I get older...

YES! But don't worry - they've thought of this too. You can buy even more expensive blades that have an extra single blade in the top edge for that very area.
