Tag-o-Rama Pre Xmas Gathering & Tag500

A pre-Xmas gathering of all the Wellington Tag-o-Rama players.

Purpose: Meet greet and b/s all the tag addicts.

Venue: Rimutaka Forrest Park on the Coast Road out of Wainui.

Time: Sat 28th November All day .

BBQ for the Afternoon, say, around 4pm, so everyone can make it along. I may create a "TAG in the Park" competition for everyone just to make things interesting. No bookings needed to stay over night. Camp fees are paid into an honesty box at the entrance to the camp ground.

Directions: Head down the Wainuiomata Coast road. About 15ks down there will be a fire danger warning, and rite after it, one saying Rimutaka Forest Park. Turn in here.

Head all the way down the road untill you see a sign saying "Campground" to your right. When you see the other bikes, you have reached the right place.

Buell's...? you have more than one...? so one is the Black XB12R in your profile pic, whats your other one???

Ok for a nice reachable ride for all the crew- (and close to me hahahaha) I reccomend Rimutaka Forrest Park-
Alternative I would suggest would be Queen Elizabeth Park in Paekak

Im even prepared to arrange a bbq in a support cage- sidebags can bring meats and shit but ok to make it a real event we needs eats

the 1125 CR is the only Buell I would ever want to own (right now that is) no offense Buell fans, just love thos full fairing beasts

Excellent idea we need eats and byo & bbq is better than making someone else rich.

Anyone know how to conduct a poll on KB so we can run a vote for majority pick of a venue ?
Suggest three location choices and a firm closing date to ensure no confusion and time to "warn" any prospective venue if needed

OK then when we get some more responses and the inevitable flurry of suggestions we can narrow it down and run a poll thread.

No need- just set up that same vote template to copy in to next post as Drogen did, that will suffice for our wee group of addicts

BBQ sounds good and way cheaper than some bar or restourant... not that they would let us hard ass bikers though the door... heheheh

but yeah could do a BBQ at a park some where... like Harcourt Park maybe... i have an okish small 4 burner BBQ. and a trailer to transport it on... can do BYO Meat and BYO drinks...

plus would look real good having all our bikes parked up in the carpark...
