Auckland was pretty wet at 9:30am this morning. It's been coming and going all day but it has been becoming lighter and the clouds are slowly starting to clear.

A fishing boat floated past my shop earlier, it's slowed down to torrential now though.

Always thinking with your box. Yeah it was bucketing down here earlier. Usual lake forming front and back lawns. Had to delay taking my daughter to daycar coz we'd get drenched through just from the door of the house to the car! This time of year sucks.

Yep, has been torrential up here all arvo, just stopped. It will be good for all the plants I stuck in at the weekend though. Also experimenting with air plants and have tied them to the tree ferns in our garden - they need a bit of humidity apparently.

Heinous here in Welly and I hear that we have all three lanes of the NOrthbound section of the Ngaranga gorge covered in oil slick to top it all off

Well I can't leave it behind now can I!?!

Looks pretty ominous outside the pathetically small window I am currently looking out of.
