    James Smith Triple R Racing

Wow, 1st race on a 1000 Superbike, and check his form

This guy will go places this season on the Superbike for sure, IF he gets enough practise in on it, to get it set up they way he wants the bike to work.

He was pulling in and out of races on the weekend, to make adjustments to try and make the bike better for himself, now that is dedication, after travelling all the way from timaru to race, and then really just using those races as a practise day, congratulations on you and your effort mate.

PS RED, if you are reading this, get him out on it as much as you can mate, he will do you justice big time

It wont be Jimmys call but he certainly showed straight away that he is comfortable on such a beast. Another very polite and unassuming young man.
The pit visits during racing were planned and its amazing how many people said ''is there something wrong?'' The top riders use this racing primarily for testing, thats the reality. It means that we get to play with shims and springs and often some new toys.

Relax dude, he has announced he is doing the NZ champs in both classes YES!

BUT, there is a lot or racing going on between now and the champs starting, and we are all hoping that he gets to ride/race/test the bike a lot more before the first round
