Another enjoyable nelson rally. Numbers well down , reckon 70% had turned up by fri nite too. An interesting week saw just the two of us head up on friday, many stops and fine weather made for a good trip. Camp Kb was a sad three tents, and no need for a reserve sign on shreks handy trees.
With a house bus behind us, and the jappa's are us racing crew up the bank complete with GENERATOR, lights and stereo, we settled in and knocked off a bottle of jim beam friday nite.
Around midnight we meet allan and jan , our other neighbours. Allan crawling around piss crook wanting to die and the lovely jan in her big white granny undies doing what a good harley rider mrs's does....alllllaaaaannnnn .we hav all been there aye
Sat morning was a write off, after pissing about we finally headed off to takaka about 1130, sorry jen for having to wait so long, we were a bit disorganised to say the least. Awesome play on the hill, lovely lunch with some plainsmc club people and we headed back to the rally. Sat was pretty cruzy , band had upset with the generator running out of fuel??? I think. I retired early round 1230am, still having a good night.
Sunday was down the east coast for us. leaving a beautiful nelson morning, it turned to shit at blenheim with cold and drizzle down to kaikoura, where it improved all the way to chch .
Well done to eddie(dirtylilman) , did his biggest ride ever approx 1200km , on his cbr250, way more than ya std 50-100km ride aye mate. Hope I got ya hooked now , and no more rallys in my lanndcruiser
Nice to see ya again far queue, thats a mint st ducati you have, gave it more than a second look all weekend, man ya can get a lot of stuff in those side boxes!
