Job Done...I have handed over the Lead for the first part to Mr Spokes, he deserves it.
That leaves myself and a few others to keep things moving in the middle.
See you at the beach in the morning, did I mention the compulsary mid winter dip?...

Anyway, I'll meet the sass group at shell westgate 10am - look for the guy in the funny red two piece that doesn't really fit anymore

Gremlin...that suprise you had for us was a real looker, not bad for a blonde, look forward to the right-up...

Bikes ranged from a GN to a 109 and everything in between...10-12 bikes.
No rain, well not until after the ride had finished at our end...
Duck plucking comp at the lunch venue...downy crap going in all directions. Not over the fish burger and chips though
But to see them hanging there upon arrival was a little...

Was bloody cold on the West coast...alot warmer out east.
Thanks to all the Robs and everyone else who turned out...
Cheers Mr Sokes for the lead role through to the lookout...
Hope Woodcocks was enjoyed by those who went that way home.

    What a cool day

A very mixed ability group of riders enjoying a pootle out. It was great to be part of the ride, nice pace mr spokes. Thanks to Gremlin for TEC duties, allowed me to simply have a pootle. Hope that poor little ginny can be repaired under a dealer sales warranty, but if not it is not a big repair bill if you can find someone who can help you do it.

Saw an old friend when we got back home and was telling him it reminded me of the time his bike crapped a gasket when he first bought it, there was oil everywhere

Speaking of being at home, what a yummy treat. swbarnetts shortbread cases, my lime curd with a bit of quick meringe on the top, into the oven for a moment resulted in heavenly bite sized delicious yumminess I am sure is part of my "balanced diet". Ms Boots, I hope you enjoy yours as much as we did. You can have more after the next 1000 words

Thanks to everyone for making today so cool. See you all on the next one.

Yum, yum, yum. Heaven for the taste buds!

And I did write 1000 words today, plus created a couple of diagrams! So I'm pretty pleased. Would have been cool to come, but until the thesis is finished I probably won't be very social.
