Think Rossi showed he could have beaten him! Not effecting the big picture of who the next world champion is going to be. What happend to Lorenzo?

I wouldn't agree, Stoner gave me the impression he had the measure of Rossi the whole race

Disagree. Rossi gave no real impression of a realistic attempt to pass. He knew he just had to finish, in order to keep Lorenzo in his place.

I'd've liked to have seen otherwise, but that's my 2c.

Stoner was on fuckin' form though. Props to him, that break certainly seems to have worked.

Been a bit of a shake-up in the championships at Philips Island this weekend - and not just with the 800's. Keeps things lively.

Most convincing attempt to secure 2nd place I say !

He gave poor old "no luck" Nicky Hayden a we nudge from behind. I never knew Lorenzo swung that way

Is it coincidence that the no. 2 from Yamaha seeks and takes out the no. 2 from Ducati

Vale !!!!!! The G.O.A.T. now has a 38 point lead over Horhay.
Stoner did well winning it, but the yamaha looked very comfortable tucked in behind.
Points were at stake, I think he used his head. G.

    To me it looked staged......

Rossi had the turn 1 entry speed over Stoner, Rossi even had the luxury of having different lines around turn 2. He knew once Lorenzo was out, he only needs minimum points for the title, so why go for the win?
You and I know that it is great for PR when a rider wins his home GP. Did you see Rossi congratulate Stoner in front of all the fans both on the track and in the pits? Rossi knew he'd win fans by doing so - and by 'letting' Stoner win there. It was also great for Stoner to show he's got the monkey of his back, and dispel any un-truths from the press.
To me it looked rigged. But what the hell, it was still great to watch - especially those 270-280km rear wheel slides from Stoner at turn 3!!! Fook in hell!!!!

Im not biased in either way towards Rossi or Stoner, but what they did goes along way to the PR circus that is MotoGP.
Is it still beastiality if ya fuck a frozen chicken??

THAT"S what I was trying for on Saturday - failed miserably though, I'll have to practice, anyone know of a nice big empty car park around Wellywood ?

Both Stoner & Rossi had the hammer down, Stoner looked hungrier for the win but as noted didn't have a championship to ride for. As for Scrivvy's (is this man the Ian Wishart of KB I wonder) conspiracy theories I reckon Rossi wants Ago's alltime record to much to drop a race, allthough replays of the race clearly show a man on the grassy knoll.....
