No, not necessarily - I've been riding on and off for 8 years and I've not crashed a bike yet. (OK, technically I have, but it just laid down cos it was tired at 1 kph, so not really a crash as such.) And I'm clumsiness personified - my partner is astonished because I'm the only person who can walk into both sides of a doorway....when only passing through it ONCE!

Then again, it's not that hard to do a hundred thousand kilometres of riding at the speed limit on main highways without falling off, and then turn up on the internet and claim to be an Experienced Motorcyclist (tm).
