Not just the racing division, the whole sodding company. They have no paint charts, bolt head patterns change from batch to batch, footpeg rubbers needs trimming before you can use them, suspension that only works on a perfectly smooth surface, and the only parts of the bike that have finish of any depth are the bits you can see. They made one good bike in the last 40 years and then sat back and phoned it in.

Gotta laugh though, if you read Chris V's column in AMCN it reads as if he gave Suzuki the flick as they werent up to it for him. So what does he choose instead to further his racing career? A Kawasaki WSBK bike!
He was rumoured to have offered his services free of charge to Tech 3 though, so not too sure it was just about the money.

I was talking about HIS results.

Supersport is a bit "Meh" quite frankly. That may change when Moto2 comes on stream to compete directly with them though.

    P , I think his boat already has an anchor ? G.

ps Chris V to WSB , could be what Kawasaki has needed for some time.

I lost a lot of respect for Kawasaki with the way they handled wriggling out of MotoGP but they do seem to be making good strides with the ZX6R in Super Sport.

I always thought of Kawasaki as horse power first then then handling second but Lascorz was noticably better on the brakes and mid corner speed compared to Cal Crutchlows Yamaha at Magny Cours.

BPF's. The first adopter of a technology evolution usually has an advantage for a season in something as close as Supersport. They'll be scrapping for 10th next year and it will take them a year to figure out what evolutionary leap to make and then they'll be two years behind until they make another unexpectedly beneficial change at random.

I lost a lot of respect for Kawasaki when the next model of Z750 was fatter, slower, and despite USD forks, handled and rode worse than its predecessor.

Maybe, there's no doubt that it is the most competitive road bike that kawasaki have ATM. I think that Kawasaki will put more effort into SBK and SS now they have dropped motogp.

Maybe Chris V is hoping that some good results might see the Hayate ZXR dusted off and Kawi return to MotoGP, with him aboard.
