According to Colin Edwards' official website, target=colin>www.colinedwards.com, the Texas Tornado has spent a day testing the RC 211V at Valencia, Spain. CE, sr. says Colin turned a 1'45.3 lap on Gibernau's 2003 bike with Gibernau's settings on a 17'' front tire. Apparently, Colin hasn't used a 17" tire since early 2000. For comparison purposes, Valentino's fastest race lap from Sunday's race was a 1'45.472. Something to think about
