Kaitoke 18th - Fun day with karts

I actually had no idea about this until today but the bucket racing website says there is racing next weekend! Don't know how I managed to miss noticing that!

Who plans on turning up for it? I am keen to turn up for sure. I suppose because I am the one making the thread I should post this....:

Fun Day meeting with the Karts.
Full nylon required. Bikes will be scrutineered.
    Track open 7:30am.
    Scrutineering 8:30am.
    Rider Briefing 9:30am.
    Practice after briefing.
    Entry $45.
    Spectators free.

    BRING IT ON

I'll see how I feel after the final VMCC round on sat! That and if I can be bothered getting spark on the bucket this week.

Next weekend is actually just a Kart day, so would be a fun day if you went out.
However, you can never have enough racing ay.

Ohh, how's the motor building going? I hope it is your motor. Remember the goal is 20+ hp

I rebuilt mine for the weekend just gone, but it lost spark half a lap in, damn piece of electrical shit.

The weatherman for Wellington buckets says: RAINING LOTS AND LOTS ON SUNDAY AT KAITOKE!! BRING LIFE BOATS, WE WILL BE RACING THOSE AROUND THE TRACK TOO!!!!!

I am actually looking forward to having another crack at racing in the wet, although I am not all that practiced at it. I will still show up for sure. Do karters avoid racing in the rain? I am just thinking about more track time if there are fewer numbers of them haha

There usually are less karters turn up when it's wet, they're not as hard as us bikers (or is that insane as us.....)
