but you know what I mean. While I'm very used to being the only girl in a bunch of guys in different areas of my life (I work in a male only industry pretty much), I just think it would be refreshing to meet some gals too! Especially ones that ride bikes - I mean come on, it doesn't get much better than that.

I went on a ride the other night with a bunch of guys. Great guys. But as always, the only girl in sight. Surely there are bloody heaps of you in Wellington?

You arrange it, and they will come. We have had a few Chicks rides over the years with good turn outs, good convasations and good coffee. Start a thread and organise it

hi Ya katiepie, met you on tuesday nite...before I led the lads astray! You willget used to being the only woman doing stuff, I have worked in male dominated work for years and years.

I'd be keen on a Women only ride..bugger the blokes they can stay home and look after the sprogs.

i am a new rider too
would be cool to meet another newbie
i am being adventurous and heading down to the early morning ride through mangaroa and then over to martinborough tomorrow
have spoken to a few people and aparantly in the larger rides they have a group of learners etc that they put a lead person and a tail end charlie on to keep us safe and let us go at our own pace

I rode in the bikoi and it was amazing, no pressure from anyone and they did this same thing

I am nervous but excited
