Geez, ole FIELD must have a horrendous history...

If you only get three for killing an old fella with a history of beating up ex girlfriends and threatening to kill them... FIELDS history must be terrible!

Would be better to send him to Samoa to rebuild.... His tiler/roofer mates might be willing to give him a job...? (Especially since he no doubt "owes" them already..........).

One way ticket, just under three years labour (and it would be hard labour) and his "term" would be complete..... sorted.......

He also gave two years for the 15 charges of attempting to pervert the course of justice, and the judge declared the four and two years will be cumulative, meaning that Field will spend a total six years in jail.

Interestingly, the judge made them cumulative.

This sentence was just - our elected representatives should be held to higher standards than the rest of us plebs. The three year sentence for killing that old bloke in a road rage incident was appallingly light (hopefully the crown will appeal the sentence; it wasn't one bad punch, it was a barrage).
