Huge thumbsup for the boys in blue

My skyline was stolen this week, today they found it with the perps in it. They were 16 yr old kids, they have been caught and are sitting in the cells as I post this up, they are looking for restorative justice, I say the bible comes into effect here, an eye for an eye, I'll give em restorative for sure I'll take something of theirs and see how they feel, but big thumbs up for the police, they got their man or in this case kids!!

Hats off fella's ya may get shiite from everyone all the time but a big : and give those boys

I just bet they are. It's the softcock option. And treated as a huge joke. Don't agree to it - then it can't happen.
    Good result though. Any damage?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

    Whats restorative justice?
Being the law abiding citizen that I am, it's not an expression that I am familiar with.

Oh, and a self-helping Google search won't increase my post count.

Check the car out carefully before attempting to drive it!

My Bro's car got stolen from outside my place a few weeks ago. Was found abandoned in a nearby street about a week later.

    The obvious damage:
    Smashed ignition
Left front bumper badly dinged (partly torn off)
    Flat battery

Couldn't get it started despite jumper cables and putting the battery on the charger overnight. Ended up calling HomeTune who looked under the bonnet and noticed the brake vacuum booster hose (?) had been cut.

So beware! Check all brakes etc before driving it!
There is no such thing as bad weather; only inappropriate clothing!

Yup. They have to stand up and be accountable for their actions.

A certain member of KB could learn from that attitude.

Even without restorative they'll get a slap on the hand with a wet bus ticket mate and be out to steal someone else's car or bike tomorrow!
The cops must get real pissed off with that to! A lot of damn hard work and man hours go into catching these buggers. Must be a frustrating job somedays I reckon. LOL!!!
Good news on your car though!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

Thanx Klingon got the car towed to a panel shop, crowd I used to deal with when I was in the trade. Good guys and worth their salt so they are going over it with and extra fine comb and ahem making sure all damage is accounted for and repaired

Its not only the cops who get pissed, I have worked in this field years ago and saw a lot of them coming through the system with the I don't give a toss attitude, the world owes me and there nothing you can do to me.
Things haven't changed and they are only getting younger, while kids have kids the end result is what we see in the media and courts everyday.

Agreed.....We don't hang people any more do we? What about what they used to do with horse thieves in the Old West? Take them for a bit of a drag around town tied to the rear bumper.....
Too bloody soft on these little pricks these days, that's why they keep doing it.

Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares? ...He's a mile away and you've got his shoes

This is why we require the reinstatement of the town hall stocks. Lock the little bastards in those for a few days, with public humiliation & rotten food being thrown at them.
Put guards on duty to stop the really silly stuff happening...
