    Ahhhh no, I think his reaction would have been "fuk she will have my balls for bookings" some one will be held acountable..... which is going to be a shit load of wasted money.

    It doesn't matter who is on board. When things don't go strictly to plan in the air the priority is Aviate, Navigate, Communicate. In other words: Keep the plane flying; Know where you are going; Tell everyone else your intentions.

    It does appear that questins are already being asked by CAA as to why a Mayday call was made for such an inconsequential event, and why the pilot diverted when he was within easy flying distance of his planned destination?

    I will admit I have never had a prime minister as a passenger in any aircraft, but I don't believe I would change any of my flying habits just because of the identity of a passenger.
