Phone them first to clarify as they have Nazi trained parking wardens there who love nothing better that looking for vehicles without a ticket.
If fact if you are sitting in your car at 7.30pm waiting to pick-up your daughter from class a warden may even tap on your window to point out that you have not paid for your 10 minutes ......

The parking pass at CPIT is just a sticker that you place on the bottom right hand corner of your car's windscreen that identifys your car as a student's car for the on-site security officers (they randomly patrol the car parks) so they don't get your car towed away.
You still have to pay & display
There's at least four designated motorcycle parking areas where you don't have to pay.

Great facility at Sullivan Ave. Did a welding / sheet metal course there. I tell ya, the kids of today don't know they're born. I'd bloody love to be a school leaver taking a building course or some such there.

Speaking of drain laying, the chap that just did my garage drains used to be a Uni lecturer / animal scientist but chucked it all in. Brave move but he seemed happy with his decision.

Lots of parking around that campus by the way so don't stress about it.

Parking is free for bikes/scooters I believe. Welcome to my world (well i don't own a bike anymore so I cycle there).

    See you around.

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

Sullivan Ave CPIT site is in Opawa, not the main campus

    http://www.google.co.nz/url?sa=t&sou...JqcgWou1SnZZ6A

I can't access the CPIT portal for the campus map any more as it's been too long since I was there .

If you've got a student number/access code then go in via www.cpit.ac.nz
