Because the price was so good and the tyres were brand new I just went ahead and purchased the Hyosung 650 without a complete inspection. I noticed the other day the front tyre looked rather 'pinched'. So I looked at the rim size and it's only a 3.0 front rim with a 120/70 tyre = A PINCHED TYRE!!!!! Damn. Wont be able to get the bike to hit the edges of the tyre. I have experience what this feels like while racing buckets and the bike feels like it wants to keep pulling towards the ground like a magnet or something.

My question is, who else has this problem? How much will it slow my lap times down by? Will it let go easier than a tyre with correct profile? When it slides will it be as easy to control? Will I have the same amount of traction but with just a different feel?

    Cheers!

Would worry more about the WEIGHT of the wheels.............changed some tyres for Mr Lawrance at the weekend ...nearly gave myself a hernia lifting it onto tyre machine.
