If ya want to add it as a viewable attachment on a post just click the mannage attachments button. When the window pops up click browse then search your PC for the pic ya want, highlight it and click ok. Once you have all the pics ya wont on (max of five per post) then click upload that's it.

    Okay, here goes......

Well that was easy - thanks Coach!

I've installed a pack-rack since this photo was taken.

The bike is pretty stock - stock seat, stock pipes, etc.

    Sheeeee-it!

That's once clean and shiney bike.

Looks like one hell of a lot more comfortable seat than my bike.

Well done on getting back into it. Twenty years away is a long time. I only managed 12 and that was bad enough.

It didn't take a marriage breakdown to get back on the bike did it?

Or the last kid leaving home?

Still, none of my business really. Welcome to the site. Let's hope we get to hear more about you and your Virago...

I guess you could call it a mid-life crisis. Distant memories of youth, etc, etc. The sight of greying hair in the mirror......

Only rode little commuter bikes when younger, traded to four-wheels when I got engaged. Married now for 20 years, with two teenage girls. But the memories of the joy of riding lurked always....

But now I have discretionary income, ha ha!

I bought a Yamaha SR250 on a whim, but it didn't last long before I traded on the Virago.

You went 12 years without - similar reasons?

Hot damn!! Dirty it up a bit, change the mirrors to ugly black flag shaped ones and get rid of the plastic flap on the front fender and it's pretty much what my bike looked like. Need to do some heavy duty polishing to get it like that again. That's the good thing about Viragos, they don't need to be customized. They are great bikes tight out of stock. Only doin mine to make it more mine instead of my dad's. Great looking bike mate.

Good to be on board, looks like a fun place to waste time!

After over 20 years without a bike, I've recently got back in the saddle. I bought an old Yamaha SR250 to get me moving, but it was soon traded in on a Virago 1100 - I'm in love! It gets plenty of weekend use, mainly in and around Dunedin and Central Otago.

I'm looking at joining the local Ulysses group, I guess that being on the wrong side of 40 now means I qualify for membership!

Looking forward to hanging out with you all.

    Welcome to the site VV.

I will have you know that besides "wasting" time around here you should be able to spend some productive hours having meaningful discussion which will hopefully lead to improving your motorcycling experience - I know it has mine!
