I have had a fair bit of ACC funding in my time (20 years of racing mx does that) and there response has most of the time been pretty good, although when you are layed up in hospital you often need someone to chase them up for you,

Ditto here, although I raced the non-motor bikes (I think if I went to motoX I wouldn't have broken shit as much). The wife also got a pretty good deal when she smashed her ankle.

When I broke both arms about 15 years ago they were gonna cut off my racing shirt. The nurse said ACC have stopped covering clothes (bikers leathers screwed that up ) so did I wanna try taking it off myself. To bloody right. Didn't hurt that much and how many times can you have 3 nurses undressing you???! Pity I was too young to appreciate it!

Enternal spending and bludgers have screwed them up (although I don't think the bludgers/scammers use that much). I find it bloody funny with back injuries. Tried everything to sort mine out and end up going to a Chiro, they tell me I'm allowed 8 sessions to sort it! for the most important part of your body (barring your brain)?

ACC ran out a long time ago, paying privately and it's just starting to come right. Pity the scammers love backs. I could have got as many sessions as I wanted for a shoulder.
