Workers needed in New Caledonia and NZ

Are you interested in working in New Cal for a NZ based company, starting on$30hr in plastics welding industry? This is a team working environment and at this stage will go thru to March but could snowball for up to 4yrs. You would need to be fit and be able to work with others. It will take 6 weeks to get the neccessary work visa, but you must have no criminal convictions. ie , assault and drugs. DIC is a pass! You will need to pass a medical. This is not a job for the faint hearted but you will be guaranteed 60hrs a week. AVGE 4 weeks on, 2 off. Ring Graham, 0274 843206 or 4329677.
Edit; You will need to be less than 50yrs, all flights are paid for and organised with pickups etc and these are people that I am working for so I can guarantee you[for what it's worth!] that you will get paid

Do you actually need to know how to plastic weld?

Is a public disorderly (took a leak behind a bus stop) enough to wave the red flags?

Is there any improvement on the $30?, that's a long way to go to get an extra couple of hundred a week.

Sorry that this is off the topic, but did you get a criminal record for that? If you did someone needs to be shot...

No you do not need any special skills other than being a team player. This is a specialist industry that does large contracts usually in NZ but sometimes overseas as well. All expenses are paid and all downtime is paid hence the min60 hrs a week. Last week they copped a lot of rain for instance. Possibility of a career job for the right person but at the moment they require manpower.
Maha, prob pretty similar in principle but is done for strength and integrity only, not looks. You might be overqualified!
Yungatart, this is the job for you then!

So it doesn't matter that my chronolgical age is more than 50, as long as my mental age is less?

The Major of Auckland had gone on record that Queen St would be cleaned up, That the late criminal night activities would not be tolerated, and that the Police had been instructed to act, To make the streets a place where families could walk without fear of the bad guys.

About 8 hours after this announcement I was picked up for taking a leak behind a bus shelter at 3am,Kept in the cells all weekend and marched in front of a judge on Monday morning, seriously fuckin spewing, In fact, I still have that chip on my shoulder.

And somehow, My 3am leak behind a bus shelter turned into an 11.55pm piss in the gutter in front of horrified members of the public.

For New Cal there's local industrial action and riots (roadside barbecues) every first, third and fourth week of the month. Public holidays every second week, the union boys are good at not double-booking. Accomodation is expensive if not provided and the cost of living is high generally.

If you guys are interested you will have to speak to Graham. Tell him Al put you onto him. Re-read the first post re expenses too!
He is going back over to join the crew sun week so you have until then but as I said, it will prob take 6 weeks before you can get a work visa as the French embassy are notoriously slow, what with strike action 3 weeks out of every month and then public holidays!
