    Kiwibikers active in Nelson?

    G'day

Arrived in Nelson yesterday, after 4 years of Dorkland. What an improvement.

Anyways, was just wondering what the story is with Kiwibiker in Nelson - are there bikees local who get together for rides, socials, any clubs etc?

I ride a SV650S, about as often as I can Would be nice to catch up with some local riders to get to know the roads, etc.

I will check the calendar for anything coming up but obviously drop me a PM if you are in the area and are going to head off somewhere anytime and wouldn't mind some company.

I'd love to be heading off to the Duke rally today - any excuse for a ride - but I suspect that I may still be sitting here waiting for the removal company to rock up by then... They were 8 hours late picking my stuff up in Auckland and are now 2 days late arriving here. Good going guys!

    Cheers

    Mike

NordieBoy is the most active Nelson member I can think of off the top of my head.

At the duc rally keep an eye out for a lovely lady wearing ducati approved clothing (including underwear), and riding a Monster. That's Lynda Blair, from Wellington.

Arrrrghhhhh! I'm so jealous. Nelson is a gorgeous place!

Gotta love that Takaka Hill Rd!

Definitely Nordie Boy or there is also rdrzcbr, who Nordie Boy and I happened to meet while helping one of rdrzcbr's mates who had and off into a paddock.

If you get a chance to get to the Ducati Rally look out for Lynda Blair - ask anyone and they'll know who she is.
My goal in life is to be as good a person as my dog already thinks I am.

That has lots of nice new black seal in places and lots of nice fine gravel in others and a lot of muddy slush in one place.

There seems to be a lot of new seal going down from Riwaka right through to Takaka.

    Was still fun

Just need to remember to put on the knobblies next time.

Even that corner John came off on has been re-done.

You can't make a post like that without visual documentation to back it up(PICS).

Did ya's have pink leathers too?

Well I am seeing a fair few bikes around the roads so at least I know I am not alone...

Will keep watching the forums and calendar to see what events I can support.
