If you pay for Sky Sports, you'll get the rugby through your Sky subscription.
If you have free to air, you can watch the games on either MTV or TVNZ (both will be broadcasting live games).
FWIW when you consider how much money has been pumped by the government into securing the rights for the World Cup and building the stadiums, another 3 million for the broadcast rights really is pocket change.
