If it wasn't so silly it would be funny

Today a big solid Waitakere Court baliff rocks on up to my yard.
Eeee Yup Ive got a warrent to seize goods.
    "What for?" says I
"Cos ya havent paid your fines"
    Wot fines??
    The fines on this list
    Er Ok
Ok so its a ticket for no WOF ?
    On what vehicle ?
    The one on the paper
    Theres no vehicle
Yea there it is rego number NOPLAT
Searched our files--Hey sorry weve never had a vehicle with rego NOPLAT
--WEll Our files says you have
    But we don't
Phone call to base-- Ohh that means there was no plate
Ok can you tell us what sort of vehecle it was?
    No
Ok see if I have this right the vehicle had no number plate and you can't tell me what make or model it is?
    No
So on what grounds are you fining us?
Because you drove a car with no rego or WOF
    So what car was it
    I dunno
But you still want me to pay you
    Yes
    On what grounds
    You owe us the money

Er ok well I don't know about this -its possible but can ya gimme a clue -was it a car,a van , a 4x4?
    Its a VEHICLE !!!
Im looking around for the cameras at this stage.
Ok look tell ya what Im gonna take a break in a mo so why don't you call ya boss and say I'll meet them is say half an hour. If It doesn't get sorted then come back tomorrow and seize away.
    Off he trundles.
So I head to the district court --this is where I met Laurel and Hardy.
Keep in mind between every conversation theres a 5-10 minute wait in line.
First off i get directed by the helpfull court official to meet laurel
Wait the 10 minutes to ask for help sorting this issue
Laurel tells me--"no sir I can't help you need to go see mr Hardy"
So off to the other end of the building to see Mr Hardy
I explained the situation to mr Hardy who then told me I needed a form 61A and --yep need to go back to mr Laurel
Back I go to ask for a form 61A. All filled out and go to hand it to mr Laurel who Im sure by now was pissing himself laughing.
"no sir you need to take this form to mr Hardy"
Off I toddle to mr Hardy who looks at the form and stamps it handing it back and yes I must take this form back to mr Laurel "but sir if you pay the fine you do know you'll be able to protest that you paid under duress and get your money back"
Hmm Ok --so I think fuggit -And the shortest bloody line is the payments line so away I go and pay the $660 fine (no rego and no wof) Then right away I head to mr Laurel to file the form 61a
"but sir you paid the fine"
    Yea and ??
"No sir once you pay the fine you are admitting guilt "
Hang on yer buddy here said I could pay then claim on form 61 I paid under duress
NO sir thats not the case and theres nothing we can do.

Youda sworn I was being punked

Sounds like those morons overseas who were sending out tickets to some Polish guy with the same name - but what they had written down were the words 'driver's licence' in Polish!
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

I'm still waiting for the bit where Jorja comes out of the workshop with the shotgun...
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.
