It locked in between two gears and had a crack on the top of the gearbag

I reckon it will be a circlip missing or dropped out. do they have circlips or to they push a bent nail thru a hole on those things?

Pretty gutting on such a new bike. Bet the guy was pissed.
Still, presumably it'll get fixed under warranty.

I couldn't think of a much worse road to take a Harley, especially one of those FLXHYZTGD (whatever!) models than The Tail Of The Dragon.
Bloody nice bit of road on a bike or in a car that is made for carving up the twisties.
It's VERY popular with the sportsbike and sports car fraternity in the US and attracts it's fair share of MotoGP wannabes, with of course the resulting carnage (the cars aren't much better either) and of course the cops like to hang out in the area every now and again too....

You can search it on YouTube and find any number of videos shot from bikes and cars if you feel so inclined.

(for those that don't know, this is US Highway 129 in North Carolina)

I think that one is the overtaking one , where the tit overtakes a car on some twisties then shoots straight off down a bank

you tube , harley . or biker overtaking

    May be wrong though
