Every night or "limited time only"?

    Edit:
    Found the info

Telecom is lighting up the outside of the Auckland Ferry Building this weekend.

The company is being tight-lipped about the reason for the light show but a source has told Telecommunications Review it is to launch a new logo.

Telecom spokesperson Nick Brown has issued the following email statement: "We’ve made significant changes as an organisation over the past 18 months, including developing the look of some recent campaigns. And we are planning to make more changes, but for more detail you will have to wait a little longer. Certainly the Nightlights with Telecom event is worth attending in Auckland this Friday night."

The free interactive light show will begin at 8.30pm on Friday 16 October until Sunday 18 October. An official Facebook page - nightlights.co.nz – lists further details, with over 5,000 responses at the time of this story being posted. It features a photo taken at 4am today during a test of the light display.

In May Telecom marked the launch its new XT Mobile network with a light display on the facade of the Auckland Town Hall, as pictured here. It was created by Mike Mizrahi from Inside Out Productions. The same company has created the light show for this weekend, bringing together a team of international digital artists and animators from New Zealand, Australia, UK, USA and Japan.

Edit: info above. Do take your kiddies along as its worth a watch. They had it set up so you could interact with the lighting, however Im not sure if that was just for tonight or the whole time.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Well if only I had known - now I do duh - I actually said to the co-pilot 'I'm off to see if I can find some interesting light' at 7.00pm.

But I ended up in the other end of the foreshore

Will check it out tomorrow, taa.

I did find some interesting light too.

The show only lasts about 15 minutes but it is pretty cool
