Haha. Lucky you - you're coming back to NZ. I'm the other way round - I have to stay here to support 3 kiwis and I bloody well miss Scotland. Beautiful mountains and countryside......with courteous drivers (INSTEAD OF FUCKWITS THAT TRY TO RACE YOU WHEN YOU OVERTAKE THEM).

    Trapped in NZ *sigh*

Whateva. Live concerts are so yesterday anyway.

Now install a modern kick arse home entcent, spend the $200 on heaps x DVDs and and it's like being on stage with them - and you don't have to deal with the bogons.

I think Woodybee likes the bogans. she seems happiest in amongst huge groups of people.

We don't have boguns in the UK. Instead we have Chavs and Neds who slash you if you look at them funny. *sigh* memories

The idea would have been to move somewhere with a better climate than Scotland.

Climate is overrated anyway - I used to live in Italy for part of my childhood too.

You'll miss NZ less the longer you're there - I don't know you but if I were you I'd stay there until you're old and ready to slow down in life

    Live it up, why not?
Go walking in the Lakes District and eat Ginger Bread, trip thru Wales and have roast lamb and go down a slate mine, party in Edinburgh - there's a life time of experience to be found, learning about history
Then access to the rest of the world is easy from the UK

Spend some time sunning your self in the Med, save and travel with the BPS in your pocket, do Egypt, Greece, Africa, Europe - check out Russia, its wicked
the Pyramids, the Roman Cities, the Greek Empire and the ancient cities in ruins.

Drive thru the awesome Alpine passes and experience the road engineering that will blow your mind, drive the road down the Italian coast thru places like Marseille to Le Spezia perched high on the cliffs of the Mediterranean sea, Italian towns with cafes wine and Olive groves, check out the spectacular Millau Viaduct between Paris to Barcelona at 2.4km long, and 270m above the river ......

There's just soooo much to experience - why come home??

Wait until you're ready to die (or at lest slow down a bit)
Lifes Just one big ride - buckle up or hang on

Status Quo? Fuck, I'm glad I'm the other side of the world to avoid that.
It's only when you take the piss out of a partially shaved wookie with an overactive 'me' gene and stapled on piss flaps that it becomes a problem.

Scotland is amazing eh.....and the mad scots are fabulous folk too.

Also, I was born in the UK, and spent the 37 years there exploring the UK like a rash actually, been up to lakes district heaps, climbed up Trefan in North Wales more often than I care to remember, hiked all over the place......and threw myself around Europe like a chick on a bungy...........

What I meant to say is that I love both countires, and no matter where I live, I will always adore the other....................my mind is open to the possibilities of consuming life everywhere, soaking it up like a sponge.....and living each moment like its my last.........

Ahh McJim, you should apply to be an on call telelink Glaswegian translator ... get some extra squiddies that way! Read an article that reckons business types from around the world can't get around the way you Glaswegians mangle Scottish!

So they need people who can grok the accent into something they can understand! Can ye ken it? Och ay th'noo!
