    Congrats!
The site is down now so worst case scenario you had been scammed to the tune of $0.02.
    Just my $0.02 :-)

    Bid Here

I just won a Camcorder... Now I'm just waiting for it to arrive...

    Bargin price of 12 cents

I didn't even win the auction. The scamming bastards that bid after me got caught out because they have two accounts at one address (apparently its in the rules I didn't read).

BTW who is KiwiBiker on Bidhere?

I'll reserve my opinion (that it sounds like a pile of shit) until Jantar confirms if is item ever arrives.

They didn't charge you $800 for postage did they Jantar?

I thought it was gonna be another TardeMe site. Site didn't turn on until the banners went up.

Will be very interesting to see if anything turns up in the mail for anyone.

Or do I misunderstand your post?

Did you use the free bids plus one more that you paid for?

What was the final price on it? How many bids?
Yes it was the only bid, so the final price was $0.02. So this was one of my free bids, and postage is free.

    Ah.

So it looks like they screwed themselves, so far, by the low interest (new site).

Overseas these kinds of sites have been banned because they are essentially a dodgy lottery system.

You are lucky that you were the only person to buy a "ticket" for one of them.

If of course the item is not "lost in transit"...

I agree - would never buy anything from anyone who thinks flashing ads in my face is a good idea!

    But wait.... theres more

I got an email from then this morning saying that the camcorder was out of stock.
They're apparently going to send me a digital camera worth twice what the camcorders RRP was.
    Awaiting delivery....

That's a lovely shade of blue you have on your face. Can I suggest that you resume breathing?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
