i'm having a completely different experience with them. I'll not say more just now because i'm likely one of a very few and it's a great thing that you guys are getting things hassle free!!! did anyone get a contact number for these guys as they're hell bent on not providing me with a point of contact for my "query", to the extent that they have stopped answering my emails!!! In fact are their any consumer law guys in here that could maybe help a fella out on a couple of things???

I'd just get Target or someone like that onto it and let them do all the work for you! They usually get pretty good results.

Or do I misunderstand your post?

Did you use the free bids plus one more that you paid for?

What was the final price on it? How many bids?
They have bid packs being auctioned and say the retail is $900 nzd for 1000 bids so does this indicate the bid cost is 90cents each?
By the time an auction reaches $30 they would have received 1500 bids at 90cents each so thats $1350 in bids plus $30 for the win so it easy to see were the money is made.
If you have a paypal invoice then it means they have accepted that you won for whatever value it was. They wouldnt invoice unless you won the item so assume its yours. They will be working averages and for them win on most loose on some.Almost every lucky person gets hooked and continues bidding on other items so its loose in the long run and winners spread the news to others and they grow bigger lists of bidders every day. They are running odds like casino.

At $0.02 increase per bid, that would mean 6,500 bids were made.

What do people pay for the right to bid on this site?

i.e. How much money did they get for those 6,500 bids?

edit: found it on the site. $0.75 each.

So those 6,500 bids got them $4,875 (+ that $130!).

    Someone's "winning"!
they have bid packs on auction claiming 1000bids carries retail value of 900nzd so you can assume bids cost 90cents each to place.

My camera arrived yesterday, and its exactly as advertised. Absolutely top of the line, digital still plus movie. My credit card was debited a total of $0.02 and that included postage and packaging. So looks like a genuine site to me.

Yeah it is fully legit, my MP3 player showed up on Wednesday. All as stated, cost me $0.02. Probably won't bid on anything else though, too many people know about it now.

Seems as though the company is based in auzzie (my package was sent from there) but they may send stuff from specific regions so the goods work in the country that the bidder won the auction in. Just a guess though.

And the more people that get in the longer the auctions go on each and the higher their returns. Its like a pyrimid scheme. Those in first are the only winners because the site reaches saturation .The average return per auction will get higher and higher.Calculated a few and they are returning twice retail already.

$`1125 tv is 42 in bids means $46 times 50bids per dollar times 90cents per bid = $2200 plus the $46 win and its still going.

Ill post the final return if it ever finishes...

Here is a better one camera worth $2872 has $272 on it meaning 13600 bids at 90 cents = $12,240 return so far and climbing

    Online chat conversation with them.

Please wait for a site operator to respond.

You are now chatting with 'bidhere'

you: camera worth $2872 has $272 on it meaning 13600 bids at 90 cents = $12,240 return so far and climbing

bidhere: Welcome to Bidhere, How can I help you?

you: camera worth $2872 has $272 on it meaning 13600 bids at 90 cents = $12,240 return so far and climbing

you: seems like a pyrimid scheme

bidhere: yes, we are to be honest frustrated with that climb and want it to end soon, it's been there for 3 days.

    you: people lose money quickly

bidhere: Its not a pyramid scheme, it is run by members, and as you can see, none of the bidders are giving up on it.

bidhere: another Nikon D90 which started a few hours ago, ended for around $2

bidhere: they have a option to buy it anytime

bidhere: and get the bid money they spent on item off from retail, so they're not really losing money.

you: yes but as interest in the site increases so does your profit margins

bidhere: They are aware of the fact they can buy it, that's the reason they're still bidding on it.

bidhere: nothing wrong with profit margins, we still will bring cheaper deals to customers.

you: doesnt help people who cant afford the product and are trying to get a bargin because they cant buy it without enough money

bidhere: That's the reason we have buy now and winning tips, if you followed it, you won't waste your money.

you: I believe this is moraly wrong but if you can sleep at night thats your call.Wont catch me bidding though.

bidhere: and no one is being forced to participate, they don't have to.

    you: see ya

bidhere: why is it morally wrong to give away some cheap deals to people?

bidhere: what is wrong with it? how about the lotto that government runs?

you: for every cheep deal there is hundreds that walk away with nothing

    bidhere: or the casinos?

bidhere: not really, they can anytime buy it for discount.

you: doesnt make casinos moraly right does it?

bidhere: so you should bid on it, if you want to buy the product. have fun bidding, if you dont win, buy it anyway

I don't see what your problem is. No one is forcing anyone to go and spend their own money on the site. Everyone that bids is fully aware of the process. They are not decieving or lieing about anything. 100% up front and making a good business idea work.

I suppose you go into the warehouse and give them stick for having a 200% markup on their stock too?

Because like a pyrimid scheme as the members increase the auctions last longer increasing in value and even though you can purchace the item and include the amount you spent bidding not everyone can afford to do that and lose every sent they spent.Think logic and say its a $2700 camera. What percentage of the bidders do you think can afford the camera or would spend that money on the camera even if they could.Trapped into a buy it for retail or lose all the bidding money. Its designed to hook those who cant afford.

My login mysteriously stopped working. They wouldn't send me a password to my email so i tried a new login and now apparently i have multiple accounts. Bullshit site that shouldn't be allowed to operate. Glad people got there stuff for 2 cents although i have my doubts since i have never seen any auction go for 2 cents i even checked the site at some ridiculous time in the morning and bids were still going. And the things that people said they had just won didn't appear on the ended auctions page (expect one person). Hope people don't waste too much money and let these fuckers get super rich for nothing.

Remember this site isn't just a New Zealand one, and what may be a ridiculius time in the morning for you is late morning in USA or mid evening in Perth.

I am satisfied that it is genuine, but now that it has a good number of members I don't expect to see the bargains that were going during the first week. I probably won't be bidding on it again until mid way through next year when we are planning on upgrading our TV. I'll buy enough bids to actually buy the TV, and if it gets to the stage that I am approaching using most of my bids I'll just click on the Buy Now.

The ones who will lose money are those who bid on something they aren't really intending on buying anyway, or those who just treat the site as an online raffle at $0.90 a ticket.
