Cycle lanes not motorcycle lanes.....

Cyclists still pay ACC in wages..they own cars!!!!! Yeah they are dicks on the road but fairs fair

You could say the same about motorcyclists tho, most of us own cars as well!!! but still have to pay extra for our bike, oh and we pay out of our wages to do we not??? FAIRS FAIR. Bunch of Gits if you ask me, well a large percentage of them are anyway.

A motorbike is often a "toy" as much as it is a way of getting to work so it is our choice.

A cyclist....can also be a motorcyclist..but may have a wife, family so a car is in this day and age an essential plus they work so overall in the "essential" world fair is fair...

This is not about nitpicking..it is about the unreasonable in"he did it Miss" attitude

Actually, next time I come across a few cyclists while I'm in my V8 (or on my heavy-weight, ill-handling Harley) I might just give them a nudge to make the stat's look a bit worse for them/us.

If the road is a national highway I'm not sure who pays, or if cycle lanes even exist on national highways in NZ.
