TOP MARKS VMCC!!!! This was an awesome series to participate in and I have no complaints of how it was run....seriously great job and its good to be part of a club that listens to its members! To all those involved in getting this series up and off the ground big ups to you all. I really believe VMCC are leaders in NZ motorcycle racing at the moment and other organizations will be taking a leaf from your books! WELL DONE!

Also as Toast said, what a great bunch of competitors we had this year...some really good close racing and most of it clean! I really enjoyed the on and off the track shenanagans and sledgeing...and now for PMCC summers Series...see you lot on the grid!

So after a chat to a good mate (you know who you are) i decided to put my 2cents worth in & share my views on the winter series.......

Round 1 i did flag marshalling which i must say is an awsum way to watch the racing from a different view......

    Missed the 2nd round.....family crisis

Round 3 was where it got alittle more interesting.....My good mate Sue offered me the job of doing "dummy grid" Now wasen't to sure what that ment at the time but then found out it was patting down all the racers and checking them.....mmmmmmm all that leather

Round 4 was the dummy grid again

Round 5 Sue then asked me to do the red flag on the start line.....All i can say is WOW!!!! I almost shit myself the first time.....It's alittle freaky at first.....But then standing at the back of the field and watching those lights go and the noise of the bikes is just mind blowing......Hard to describe really, Something i think everyone should experience.

Round 6 I was with Sue again which i was quite wrapped about.....But also saddened as it was the last round of the series......Ambo officers were kept busy this round as were crash and the flaggies....The last race for the Motard boys was stunning to say the least....You guys were ment to go on the second set of lights, As Sue & i turned to check for the lights you slowly took off which left us woundering until we realized you were regridding on the start line, Was totally gobsmacked by this, Well done boys, As it was time for the last race of the day the weather gods decided we had it sweet for long enough& the sky started to open up....Getting alittle wet didn't bother me....Sue told me she was going to put the call out for the last race but we didn't expect anyone to turn up.....No sooner than the call went out a lone rider turned up.....Standing in the rain with him we decided he had won that race but was keen to go out anyway.....Then the 2nd call went out and what do ya know 2 more crazy bikers came along.....1st 2nd & 3rd as far as we were concerned....So Peter Tanner, Hayden Fitzgerald & Darren Calder you guys rock!!!!! The only 3 who were not worried about abit of rain (real men & racers i think), Prize giving made me giggle as i don't know what alot of the riders look like outta their gear.....As the names were called up i was like"oh i know who you are, well done"......

Now i would like to thank some of you.....

Sue, What can i say here that you dont already know......In real life you are my good friend which i am so lucky to be able to say.....On and off the track you are 1 in a million girl.....Dont ever change....Thank you so much for sharing with me what you do....I feel honored

Thanks to all the racers for letting me "grope" is the world that alot of people have been using, LOL, I prefer to say "check" it dosen't make me sound so dodgy, On the dummy grid......Must say i have never in my life had to help finish dressing so many growen people, What a laugh you lot are......

Had some of the funniest shit said to me on the grid but the one thing that stuck out the most was from none other than Drew......Dude your comment about wanting a coffee waiting on the grid was bloody classic

Big thanks to Dee's Mum & Dad for feeding us lot.....specially on hotdog day & home baking

Thanks to the vic club and everyone else that has made this series as great as it was....nigel & all the flaggies, the ambo crews and anyone else i have forgotten....

Hope everyone that had an accident bounces back well, Keep up the good work everybody,

See you all next year if not before....Keep riding it's good for the soul,

    Cheers CJ

Great to see a club so enthusiastic and willing to get involved and stage this series. At times the conditions and the circumstance must be pretty tough aye. Big thumbs up to all involved and a big thanks.

CJ, thanks for the kind words and I can truely say that you and I have worked well together and make a great team not only on the Dummy Grid but also out there on the Start line.

It sure does make the day run well when there are people like yourself and all the other Fantastic helpers we have had helping us at each round trying our hardest to make the Series enjoyable and memorable to those Riders who have been with us throughout the series.

It couldn't be done without you Guys and Girls.

I know we are all Passionate about this Great Sport and that we all put in a 110% to try and keep this Sport Alive and going for many years to come.

See you all again at the 2010 VMCC Actrix Winter Series.
