it was only when you got back on the track i let my breath out...

    NEVER DO THAT AGAIN OK!!!!!

    great to see your times!!!!

    and sorry about your Granddad.....

next season, i think we can see a 1:30:00!!!
you do have it in you!!!
    Fuck mate, it was SCARY!

The funniest thing is that I didnt realise that so many people had been watching it. People were coming up to me all day and saying that they thought I was a goner! I certainly was preparing for a puckering... Great fun eh!

    The grass is fun eh.....NOT.

You put on a brave front despite the bad news and I'm sure it motivated you even more. I think your pop was probably up there pushing you along a bit.

I was STOKED when you got your trophy. Most well deserved and timely given everything.

    Well done mate !

Condolences and congratulations Hel's. It's been really cool following your development over the last few years. You had sooo much crappy luck road-riding and certainly didn't fall into the "naturally skilled" basket. You have overcome all of that and despite appropriate anxiety I have watched you compete at the Cliffhanger, Taupo and Manfield. You stuck with it no matter what, kept a bloody smile on your dial, gave out the smak-talk like it was invincible kung-fu and turned yourself into a racer.
You are doing it mate. Cutting down the lap-times, dicing with the competition and getting that pure hit of race-high. There are some seriously cool people involved in our sport, just like you.
I have to give a shout out to your mechanic and masseuse as well. Top man.

Wow, you're soo right. It has been an incredible journey and I have made some awesome mates!! Most of all I have had my man with me and we've both been through each others highs and lows.

    Hope you're healing up OK!
