Good and easy way to get someone hooked on buckets by letting them run around on something like an xr100 or drz125 etc to see if its worth it/or want to get bike to properly fit the class. Im still undecided after after all this time...

Mate anyone whos ever raced motox or enduro will tell you that neither XR100 nor XL100 have ever been competition bikes. Just build it and go racing

True. Always been a kids trail bike not a race bike. A CRF150 would be a different story.

No ones going to tell you to go home if you turn up at mt wellington with it...... you'll have to run f5 with it, even then you will have trouble being compeditive, avalon does well on her xl100 but shes a top rider.

B-grade at mt wellington consist of very fast buckets, moded fxr's,moded cbr's,fast 2t's ect, Come to practice on the 14th i think of movember and test the bike out then you'll have a good idea of what its like.
chuck norris's calender goes from march 31st to april 2nd

the worst you will do is 5th place
maby 9th if everyone including me joins in

you will be able to run it in f4 A or B grade
and if you cant beat DD or Karl or Tim etc you wont need to worry about it being a non compeditive compeditive engine

Incidently --waay back then (early80's) the hot mod was to fit the front end from a suzuki GP100/125 or a GT185. But then back then we diddnt even have to fit plastic blocks under our pegs.

You could supercharge a CB/SL/XL 100 and run it in F4..........bet it would be quicker than a FXR150...
